Background and biography: Adopted to the same sex Avani-Vachemir marriage at young age, August, born David, was given many advantages in life.  One of his mothers, Zatasha was very strict on him, encouraging his academic studies, and trying to form her son into a well rounded young man.  On the other hand Rena always tried to cement her bond of friendship with August.  However, when a girl friend broke up with him, followed by Zatasha and Rena parting ways, August lashed out, and found much needed attention in the LA party scene. Dorm life at college, and away from the somewhat watchful eye of his mother, August found himself experimenting with drugs and alcohol. With out the discipline to discourage him, and friends only encouraging him, his use of pot, ecstasy, and various liquor only escalated, jeopardizing his academic career.  After hitting rock bottom, August found new hope in the form of Vivian Young, a woman that suffered through everything August had and more.  She helped August get clean, and stay clean, and supported him through his transition into his new life, including changing his identity back to his birth name.

Background and biography: Rena Avani comes from a prestigious acting pedigree. Her father was a famed actor in his youth, turned director in his late age. Of course she followed in the family line.
