Background and biography: It was a chance meeting in Sacramento, when young Johanna Bloor met a charming older man by the name of Shashenka Sima.  She was only 23 when they met, while he was 56, but there was something aboug the Russian man that interested her.  Perhaps it was his many stories from his motherland, maybe it was the bountiful life experience he had.  The two were drawn to each other, “by destiny” Johanna would swear.  Shashenka so interested her, that Johanna wrote a biography about her new friend turned lover.  After two years Johanna bore a son, Mikhail, by Shashenka.  They married soon after, and a daughter soon followed.
